About the Espresso Top 50
The Espresso Top 50 is the Original list of the best espresso sites
on the web, online since 1999!
How do we know that these websites are the best? Simple, a good web site will attract
visitors and keep them coming back. When these visitors like the web site they will
return, and
tell their friends and family about the site. This results in a higher traffic for that site.
So when a site has a lot of visitors, it is considered a good site. When that
site is about espresso, it shows up here.
This list is not like other ranking lists. We count only unique
visitors during one day - not clicks or votes. So when a visitor visits the same
page five times in one day, here it counts as one. Our algorithm will only count
real people like you on a site, so unless the website is really good
it will not rank high.
This eliminates cheating,
guaranteeing that the sites ranked here are the best of the best.
The sites are ranked by the following formula: All unique
daily visitors on a weekly basis.
The ranking list is generated every Saturday and reset back to zero.
